The Ohio State Cup 2026 is Ohio’s premier statewide soccer tournament, bringing together the top clubs from across the state to compete for the title of Ohio State Cup Champion. Hosted in Columbus, this elite competition features high-level matchups, exceptional talent, and the competitive intensity that defines championship soccer in Ohio.
As the pinnacle event on Ohio’s soccer calendar, the Ohio State Cup provides clubs with an unmatched opportunity to test themselves against the best, while promoting excellence, sportsmanship, and unity throughout the Ohio soccer community.

For the first time, high school–age teams will have the option to pre-schedule up to two (2) preliminary matches, offering greater flexibility and improved planning for teams balancing league, school, and tournament commitments.

Great Lakes Alliance will cover the Regional event entry fee for championship-winning teams.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust team divisions as needed to ensure competitive balance. Teams will be notified in advance of any changes.
If a division does not have enough teams, it may be combined and played as part of a Super Group division. Teams will be notified if this occurs.
The Ohio State Cup will offer both Super Group and Premier divisions.
U13 and older Super Group champions advance to the Super Group Competition of National Cup XXIII in Colorado (July).
U13 and older Premier champions advance to the Premier Group Competition of National Cup XXIII Midwest Regional in Waukegan / Libertyville, Illinois.
U17 and U19 Semifinals and Finals will be played on Friday and Monday of Championship Weekend.
This schedule adjustment was made in response to feedback from high school–age players and teams, recognizing important milestones such as prom and graduation.
Finals locations may be adjusted to a neutral site, if necessary, to provide the best possible experience for all teams.
All U8–U19 teams from the Alliance Premier Soccer League and all Ohio-based teams are eligible.
This is an open US Club Soccer event; participation in a qualifying league is not required.
Teams not currently carded with US Club Soccer may complete carding prior to competition.
Format: Traditional round-robin play followed by championship games
U8–U10: 7v7
U11–U12: 9v9
U13–U19: 11v11
U12 teams may choose 9v9 or 11v11
